1. Who We Are
Explorer Florida is a curated travel discovery platform operated by BLUE AURA MARINE, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Explorer Florida (“Explorer Florida,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our website is located at exploreroutposts.com.
Explorer Florida curates and presents independently owned and operated Florida businesses — including hotels, restaurants, and experience providers — for discovery purposes. The businesses listed on Explorer Florida are independent third parties. Explorer Florida is not the owner, operator, employer, or agent of any listed business, and we do not control their operations, pricing, availability, quality, or safety practices.
For privacy or data inquiries, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Partner Applications
If you submit a partner application through our website, we collect the information you enter in the application form. Three fields are required to submit the form: business name, business category, and email address. The following fields are optional: contact name, phone number, business address, city, website URL, Google Business URL, Google rating, Google review count, membership type, Founding 100 participation flag, and any free-text message you choose to include.
Partner application records are retained while needed for the business relationship and for a reasonable period afterward. We retain application records for up to three years after the last meaningful business interaction, unless legal, accounting, or other legitimate requirements call for longer retention.
Contact and Inquiries
If you contact us directly by email, we retain your message and contact information to respond to your inquiry.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Analytics and Usage Data
We use GoDaddy’s analytics service to understand how visitors use our website. This service loads on every page. If you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner, we collect data about how you interact with our site — including pages visited, links and buttons clicked, and general browsing behavior. If you decline, click-level event collection is not activated.
Trip Builder Data
If you use our Trip Builder tool, your trip selections — including destination, selected listings, travel dates, traveler count, and trip style preferences — are stored in your browser’s local storage and session storage on your device. This data is not intentionally associated with your name or email address. It is identified by an anonymous session identifier generated for your browser session.
When you create a trip journey through the Trip Builder, we also store an anonymous record on our servers. This record contains your trip selections, an anonymous session identifier, and related booking event data. It is not intentionally associated with your name, email address, or other personal contact information. As with any web service, ordinary technical information — such as server access logs — may be generated during use. We retain these anonymous records for up to 24 months, unless legitimately needed longer for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal purposes.
Technical and Security Information
Like most websites, our servers and services may collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and version, device information, and access logs as part of normal web operations and security monitoring. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors for marketing purposes.
2.3 Cookies and Browser Storage
We use cookies and browser storage technologies for the following purposes:
| Name / Key | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| c2_analytics_consent | Browser local storage | Stores your analytics consent choice | 365 days |
| ef_trip_builder | Browser local/session storage | Saves your Trip Builder selections | Until you clear browser storage or reset your trip |
| ef_session_id | Browser session storage | Anonymous session identifier for trip creation | Until you close your browser tab |
We do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party advertising networks. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and our cookie banner before activating any such tools.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Explorer Florida website and Trip Builder
- Process and evaluate partner applications
- Respond to inquiries and communications
- Understand how visitors use our site and which features are most useful
- Maintain the security and integrity of our systems
- Fulfill legal, accounting, and operational obligations
4. Third-Party Services and Outbound Links
Explorer Florida links to independent businesses and third-party booking providers — including hotel reservation platforms, restaurant reservation services, and experience booking platforms — as part of our discovery and trip-planning features. When you click an outbound booking link on Explorer Florida, you leave our website and are subject to the privacy policy and terms of the third-party platform or business you visit.
Explorer Florida may earn affiliate or referral commissions from qualifying bookings made through outbound links on our site. Explorer Florida does not currently charge travelers a fee merely for clicking an outbound booking link on our site.
We also link to mapping and navigation services (Google Maps) and ride-hailing services (Uber, Lyft) to help you get to listed destinations. These services have their own privacy policies and data practices.
Explorer Florida is not responsible for the privacy practices of any independent business, booking platform, mapping service, or other third-party service linked from our site.
5. Data Sharing
Explorer Florida does not sell personal information to third parties.
We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Explorer Florida, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: If Explorer Florida or BLUE AURA MARINE, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
- Partner application records: Up to three years after the last meaningful business interaction, unless legal or accounting requirements call for longer retention.
- Anonymous Trip Builder and journey records: Up to 24 months, unless legitimately needed longer for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal purposes.

7. Your Choices
Analytics consent: You can accept or decline analytics data collection through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. To withdraw consent after accepting, you may clear the applicable browser local storage on your device. A visible Manage Consent control is planned for a future update but is not yet available on the site.
Trip Builder data: Your trip selections are stored in your browser. You can clear this data at any time by resetting your trip within the Trip Builder or by clearing your browser’s local storage and session storage.
Partner application data: If you have submitted a partner application and wish to request correction or deletion of your information, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational needs.
8. Children
Explorer Florida is a general travel discovery website. Partner applications and booking-related actions initiated through Explorer Florida are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, please do not submit a partner application or initiate booking-related actions through our site.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us at [email protected].
9. Future Features
Explorer Florida may introduce additional features in the future — including account creation, membership programs, and other services — that involve the collection of additional personal information. We will update this Privacy Policy before collecting any new categories of personal information in connection with those features.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and operational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
